DDCSI 星际卫星项目,是一个围绕真实在轨卫星打造的多阶段、跨学科国际航天教育体系。学生将:

Program Overview

The DDCSI Satellite Program is a multi-stage, interdisciplinary space education pathway built around a real in-orbit satellite. Students will:

  • Understand the full lifecycle of a satellite, from mission concept to on-orbit operations
  • Design their own educational payloads or science experiments
  • Follow the satellite from lab integration and launch to long-term operations
  • Work with real downlinked data to complete research projects and competition entries

Stage 1 — Mission Foundations

Students explore the fundamentals of space missions using real-world examples from NASA, ESA, and OSM:

  • Orbits and the space environment
  • Satellite architecture and subsystems
  • What makes a satellite “real” and mission-critical
  • Designing an educational mission around the DDCSI satellite

阶段一 卫星任务基础

学生将在真实案例(NASA、ESA、OSM等)的基础上,建立对“真正卫星任务”的系统认知:

  • 轨道与空间环境基础
  • 卫星总体与各关键分系统
  • 什么样的卫星才算“真正在轨、承担任务的卫星”
  • 围绕 DDCSI 教育卫星,设计自己的教育任务与科学目标

Stage 2 — Satellite Platform & Payload Design

Students work with engineers and mentors to understand the actual satellite platform used for the DDCSI mission and to design their own educational payload or data-use scenario:

  • Satellite platform overview and interfaces
  • Payload / experiment design workshops
  • Mission operations planning
  • Pre-launch testing concepts

阶段二 卫星平台与载荷设计

学生在工程师与导师的带领下,深入了解 DDCSI 卫星所采用的真实平台,并围绕该平台设计自己的教育载荷或数据任务:

  • 卫星平台结构与接口认识
  • 学生载荷 / 科学实验设计工作坊
  • 任务运行方案规划
  • 发射前测试与验证的基本概念

学生接触的并不是课堂里的塑料模型,而是围绕真正要上天的卫星平台开展学习。

Stage 3 — Launch & In-Orbit Operations

Once the satellite is launched, students follow live mission updates and take part in real operations:

  • Tracking the satellite in orbit
  • Understanding telemetry and downlinked data
  • Receiving data via partner ground stations
  • Analysing earth observation / mission data for reports, publications or competitions

阶段三 发射与在轨运行

当卫星成功发射后,学生将进入最兴奋的阶段——真实在轨运行的参与与跟踪:

  • 追踪卫星在轨飞行(轨道、过境时间等)
  • 理解并解读卫星遥测与下行数据
  • 借助合作地面站接收真实数据
  • 利用卫星数据进行地球观测分析、科研报告或竞赛作品创作

What Students Actually Experience

  • Join a real satellite mission team as junior researchers
  • Co-design educational experiments that will be linked to a real satellite
  • Use professional tools (e.g. satellite tracking, remote sensing platforms)
  • Analyse real space data instead of simulated datasets
  • Present their findings to an international panel of experts

This is not a model. This is a real satellite mission.
